Epsom Common Walk

6 Walkers plus Flinton met at the Stew Pond Car Park for the walk around the Common, map below.

The paths were firm and easy going following the blue lines.

We walked to Ashtead Common Pond and the took the path to the Epsom Well. Discovered in 1618 by a farmer and later recognised for its purgative actions.

We followed the path around to the Stew Pond, chatted to a person fishing in the Stew Pond and made our way to the Great Pond.

A walk that was just over 3 miles and took about 2 hours including the 2 stops.
