When I was at the Bar , a talk by Peter Thompson.
Peter was a practising Barrister for twenty seven years, based in The Temple, London throughout that time from 1966 to 1993. He was in court most days, with both a criminal and civil practice. In the 1970’s much of his time was acting for the defence in The Old Bailey He then switched to be a solicitor for another 18 years, retiring in 2010 since when he has been giving talks to U3A, W.I., Literary Societies, Probus, Rotary, Townswomen’s Guild, Retirement Associations and Focus Groups.
